Inez was born in Los Banos to Joseph and Rose Puccinelli and passed away at the age of 85. She married Manuel B. Freitas at a ceremony performed at St. Thomas Cathedral in Reno on June 10, 1950. She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her children on the family dairy in Stevinson where she lived from 1950 until her passing. Inez enjoyed traveling to Santa Cruz and Lake Tahoe and cooking Italian food. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Inez is survived by her daughter Colleen (Bill) Manak of Fair Oaks, CA; sister Fedora Mello of Los Banos; grandchildren Matt Manak of Venice Beach, CA and Marisa Manak of Gold River, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel B. Freitas in 2004; son Dennis Freitas; and siblings John Puccinelli, Balge Puccinelli and Lorraine Rodrigues. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 4:00-7:00p.m. 

Rosary and Mass services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00a.m. with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
