Irene Utz, 58, of Keyes, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Monday.
She was born to Leroy and Beulah Utz in Modesto and lived all of her life in this area. Irene was a cheerful, upbeat person who loved music, singing and writing poetry. She enjoyed cooking and being a homemaker, but she especially loved spending time with her grandbabies.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Beulah Utz; and brother, Eugene Utz.

She is survived by her children, Karen Climer, Chris Bilyeu and Roy Bilyeu, all of Keyes; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Brown of Keyes; and brothers, Kenneth Utz of Turlock and Virgil Pixley of Ceres.

 Viewing will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 at Keyes Assembly of God Church, 5450 Seventh St. in Keyes.
