Isidra “Sheila” Guice of Turlock passed away on Saturday at the age of 80. She was born May 15, 1929, in San Patricio, Texas. She was the second to the youngest child born to Inocencio and Maria Puga.
Sheila is a retiree of Con Agra Foods, formerly known as Banquet Foods. Many will remember Sheila for her never-ending energy. Prior to her illness, Sheila could be found tending to her landscape, making her home spotless or just shopping around town. She was a loyal wife, mother and grandmother. She was supportive of her family and loved all she knew unconditionally.
She is survived by her son, Roosevelt and his wife, Marlene, Flores of Turlock; three grandchildren, Gina Flores of Fresno, Freddy Flores of San Leandro and Natasha Flores of Turlock; and brothers, Jose Pilar Puga of Weslaco, Texas and Pedro Puga of Pharr, Texas. Her husband, Thomas E. Guice, precedes her in death.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5 at Turlock Memorial Park 425 N. Soderquist Rd. A service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall-Jehovah’s Witness located at 7763 Marriott St., Delhi.
