Jeffrey Mark Gioletti passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, April 27th, at the age of 46. He was born in Turlock and grew up on the family dairy where he became a skilled farmer working beside his father Ronnie. He attended Mt. View, Chatom Elementary, and Turlock High School.
After the death of his father in 2008, the dairy cows were sold, but Jeff continued with his passion of farming by planting alfalfa and watching it grow. And of course, everything had to be done just right.
Jeff enjoyed Concerts and could play a mean set of drums. With a compassionate love for animals, his Boston Terriers brought him a lot of joy. He could make people laugh with his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, and always made sure friends were having a good time.
He was an avid Raider and Dodger fan and didn’t miss watching a drag race.
Before his car accident in 1989, he looked forward to snow skiing and trips to the lake where he entertained many by tubing and parasailing. Jeff was known for his generosity and fun-loving spirit.
Even though he was continually challenged by health issues, Jeff kept himself happy with stories and memories of the past.
Not only will he be missed by his family and friends but by his right-hand man, Sergio Flores, of thirteen years.
He is survived by his courageous mother, Sharon Gioletti, two beautiful daughters, Brooke Gioletti and Dani Vierra, his sweet sister, Deena Dutra, niece Dakota Dutra, nephew Drake Dutra, his grandmother, Harriet Alvernaz (Grams) and many special aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Ron Gioletti.
A visitation will be held from 3:00–8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. in Turlock. A private family burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association P.O. Box 742030 Los Angeles, CA 90074-2030, or Turlock Gospel Mission at P.O. Box 1231, Turlock, CA 95381.
