Jesse Joe Gordillo, Jr., 11, of Newman passed away Tuesday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Jesse was a native of Turlock and a resident of Newman for two years.
Jesse is survived by his father, Jesse Gordillo, Sr. of Newman; mother, Sandra Preciado; and step-father, Richardo Lacerda of Turlock; grandparents, Manuel and Anna Preciado of Newman and Bertha Cerutti of Newman; brother, Rocky Gordillo of Turlock; step-brothers, Ricardo Lacerda, Jr. and Kendrick Lacerda, both of Turlock; and step-sister, Ayla Lacerda of Turlock.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Skip Cerutti and Joe Gordillo; and great-grandparents, Bertha and Gumercindo Saenz.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Newman. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
