Joanne Miller (75) of Lathrop, CA, passed away November 29, 2014 in San Diego, CA.  Born August 14, 1939 in Placerville, CA, She is predeceased by her parents, Robert A. Rushing of Tuolumne, CA and Alice D. Thomas of Stockton, CA, and her late husband, S. Ross Miller of Turlock, CA.  Joanne went to Stockton College and graduated in 1957.  

She worked as a bookkeeper for the Modesto Bee while raising her 2 children as a single mom.  When she married Ross Miller, she worked with him in Real Estate for over 30 years.  

Joanne loved to travel and visited over 65 countries with her sweetheart.  She loved to camp and spend time with her family.  Joanne served a mission for her church in Independence, MO from April 2009 to April 2010.

Joanne is survived by her sisters Laura Haydn-Myer of Soulsbyville, CA; Debbie (Virgil) Brannon of Valley Springs,CA; brother Jack Rushing of Malaysia; daughter, Terri (Michael) Simmons; son, Allan Bradley of Lathrop, CA; grandson, Johnnie Ivey of Monterey, CA; granddaughter, Kelsey Halter of Lathrop, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2607 E. Hatch Rd, Modesto, CA. Viewing is at 10:00, services at 11:00. Internment will be at Ceres Cemetery.
