Joginder Singh, 60, passed away at his residence in Turlock on Oct. 8, 2009. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Allen Mortuary, 247 North Broadway, Turlock. A Sikh funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Allen Mortuary.
Mr. Singh was born in India to Bawa Singh and Bersin Kaur on March 7, 1949. In India he worked in agriculture until he settled in Turlock in 2002. He was a truck driver for the last four years. He belonged to the Turlock Sikh Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Dilbag Kaur; children, Kulwant Kaur of India, and Sukhwant Kaur and Harjeet Singh, both of Turlock. He is also survived by two sisters and three brothers living in India, and two grandchildren.
