Marie Bugaj, 83, of Denair, passed away on July 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois to John and Martha Kruppa, and was the youngest of four children.

Marie moved to Ballico, CA in 1966 to her brother and sister-in-law’s farm where she raised her three daughters. She worked at Banquet Foods for 24 years.

Marie loved baking, flowers, her TV shows, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, hard work ethic, and perseverance.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Chester Kruppa, Genevieve Krych, and Herbert Kruppa, and son-in-law, Mark Warda.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Gail (Roger) McDonough, of Denair, Susan Warda, of Delhi, and Joy (Tony) Pallios, of Turlock, along with her grandchildren, Sarah (Blane) Adams, Ashley (Derrick) Stevens, Kristin (Joost) Bulk, Michelle (Zac) Dwight, Alex and Aris Pallios, and her great grandchildren, Haidyn Stevens, Micah Adam, and soon to arrive Dylan Stevens. 

Services will be held at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock with a visitation scheduled Friday, July 25, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service, Saturday, July 26, at 12:00 p.m.
