Mark Maggard, 51, passed away at his home in Mountain Home, Idaho. A memorial service was held at The Rock in Mountain Home, on Oct. 6, 2009. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home, Idaho.
Mark graduated from Turlock High School and went to college for two years before joining the US Air Force. While in the service, he was stationed in the Philippines, Azores, Saudi Arabia and in Egypt. He retired after 20 years of service.
Mark was a deacon at his church. Mark loved working on his 1936 Ford pickup. He loved his family and he has been one of the most honorable people you could know.
Mark is survived by his mother, Diane Todd of Turlock; son, Raymond Lou Maggard; nephew, Nick Lauderbaugh; stepmother, Claudia Maggard of Modesto; and step brothers Michael Fish Maggard and John Fish Maggard.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ray s. Maggard; and sister, Shellie Rae Maggard.
