Mary Neto, 95, of Turlock, passed away at Turlock Nursing and Rehab. Center. May was born in Los Banos, CA to Manuel and Guimar Vincent. She attended schools in Los Banos. As a girl Mary loved to swim and work hard on the family dairy. She attended beauty college before she met her soul mate, John Neto. John and Mary were married in Benicia in 1938. He worked in the shipyard at Mare Island but soon they started in the dairy industry in Los Banos and Mountain View. They settled in Turlock in 1956. They enjoyed dancing, being with family, friends, and travelling. They were active members of the Sacred Heart Parish of Turlock. Mary’s biggest joy was her family. She loved cooking and making sure everyone was happy. She loved being with her grandchildren and going to all of their events that they were involved in. Mary was a loving, hardworking, and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, John M. Neto Sr, two sons: John M. Neto Jr. and Frank M. Neto; and two siblings: Manuel Vincent and Consuela Anello. She is survived by three children: Edward (Gail) Neto of Turlock, Fred Sr. (Sharon) Neto of Hughson, and Antoinette (Kirt) Lamb of Turlock, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great, great-grandchildren. 

  Visitation will be at Allen Mortuary on Monday, August 15th from 4 to 6 pm followed by a Rosary at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock on Tuesday, August 16th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
