Mary Caperton, 73, passed away June 27, 2011, at her residence in Keyes. She was born August 1937, in Oklahoma and came to Bakersfield at the age of 4. She lived in the Tulare and Visalia areas before settling in Keyes 45 years ago. She worked for Del Monte Foods and then Tri-Valley Growers. She enjoyed ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, attending the churches in Keyes, and working with elderly people at the convalescent hospitals.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Caperton; and son, Kenneth Davis Caperton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Caperton.
