Miguel was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to his parents, Antonio and Maria Sanchez on Sept. 8, 1983. At the age of three, he moved with his family to the small towns of San Joaquin and Kerman before setting in Turlock in 1994. He attended Turlock Junior High School and graduated from Turlock High School in 2001, where he enjoyed playing football. He worked as an independent distributor for Mission Foods for 10 years. On Dec. 27, 2008, Miguel married his wife, Amy. He loved fishing, boating, snowboarding, golfing, spending time with his family, and travelling. He especially loved visiting Monterey. Miguel was known for having a heart of gold and always strived to be the best at everything he did. He was great with kids and loved his nieces and nephews. He could always be seen with a smile on his face, and everyone who met Miguel became his friend.
He is survived by his wife, Amyann Sanchez; parents, Antonio and Maria Sanchez of Turlock; brothers, Tony Sanchez and Jorge Sanchez, both of Turlock; nieces, Lexy, Riley and Maricela; and nephews, Tannier and Hayden.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at Allen Mortuary, with a rosary to follow at Allen Mortuary. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made in Miguel’s memory to the Society for Handicapped, www.societyforhandicapped.org.
