Noma Blanche Swanson, 92, of Turlock passed away Friday at Brandel Manor of Emanuel in Turlock.
Mrs. Swanson was a native of Martin Mills, Texas and a resident of Turlock for 13 years. She previously lived in Patterson for 33 years and was a homemaker for 72 years. She was a member of the Federated Church of Patterson, Del Puerto Hospital Auxiliary and Patterson Bridge Club. She was an avid bridge player.
Mrs. Swanson is survived by her son, Craig Swanson of Fresno; daughters, Jane Nordell of Turlock and Barbara Swanson of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Nettie Roberts of Berkeley; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Edward Swanson, who passed away in 1978.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
