Visitation for Patrick Davis, 76 of Ceres, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 22 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 23, also at Allen Mortuary. He died at Memorial Medical Center.
Patrick was born in Oklahoma in 1932, and later joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. He was a hard-working man, who was a self-employed carpenter for 57 years. Patrick suffered many years from severe hearing problems, but his struggles never stopped him from being a generous and loving man. Patrick’s warm heart and kind smile will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Patrick was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Mountain View Congregation.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Shirley Davis of Ceres; children, Debbie Smith of Oklahoma, Thomas Davis of Redding, Ivy Johnson of Colorado, Milton Davis of Colorado and Jonathan Davis of Waterford; step-children, Alan Kirby of Red Bluff, Sharon Schuck of Tracy and John Kirby of Ceres; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Patrick was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Marjorie Davis; one sister and one brother.
