Philip Alan Sederquist was born in Modesto, CA to Frederick and Luella Sederquist and passed away at the age of 66 in Turlock, CA.  He graduated from Turlock High School in 1967 and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Pacific Lutheran University.  He went on to perform Chaplain work in the Sacramento, CA area and in Utah, and most recently served as a writing tutor to local high school students. With a lifelong passion for beauty, Philip delighted in taking photos, playing piano, writing, and painting. He was a voracious reader, a classical music aficionado, and a political junkie. He also loved to laugh and make other people laugh. He would pass this same love of culture and humor onto his children. He spent many of his final days with his daughters, brother and other loved ones in Turlock watching Star Wars, listening to his beloved Chopin, and reading classic science fiction stories. He is survived by his daughters Jessica Sederquist of Brooklyn, NY and Adrienne Sederquist of Roseville, CA and brother Gary (Doreen) Sederquist.  Philip was preceded in death by his parents.
