Reda Faye (Noel) Rodgers

Reda Faye (Noel) Rodgers gained her angel wings on March 23, 2022, at her home in Turlock, California she was 84 years old. Born January 8th, 1938, to Claire and Marion Noel in Oakdale, Ca. She attended Oakdale High School and in 1956 married John Rodgers together they had four children and one grandchild.

Reda and John purchased their first gas station 1969, a Beacon on Lander Ave. Then an AM/PM on Golden State Blvd and finally the Exxon on East Ave. in Turlock where she was most loved and respected by all who stepped into her business Reda retired from the fuel industry in 2008 and spent her days working in her garden or making frequent visits to the local casinos. She loved collecting clocks, Pinocchio’s and figurines, and Reda always loved playing with her animals.

Reda was predeceased by her husband John Rodgers, son Johnny Rodgers, parents and siblings Freda Noel, Phyllis Gaines, Charles and Ricard Schortner. She is survived by her daughters Trina Rodgers, Kimberly (Rodgers) Ayers, Lana Rodgers and as well as her grandson Quintyn John Query.

The family requests in lieu of flowers or cards, donations be made to local animal shelters; an organization Reda felt strongly about.

At Reda’s request, in her final wishes, there will be no funeral but a small “Celebration of  Life” on April 22nd, 2022, at 1pm. Held at Turlock Memorial Park inside the Chapel of Flowers. She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a hardworking, loving person, loyal, unselfish friend and esteemed, respected individual.
