Rosa da Silva, 94, of Turlock, was born on Oct. 31, 1916 in Agualva, Terceira, Azores and passed away on March 5 in Turlock.  

She was a homemaker for 58 years and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock.

She is survived by son, Jose da Silva and his wife, Isilda of Artesia; daughter, Grimoalda Dias of Turlock; brothers, Adelino Avila of Massachusetts and Francisco Avila of Brasil; grandchildren, Connie Galhano, Paulo Dias, Carlos Dias, Robert da Silva, Donald da Silva and Diane da Silva; and great grandchildren, Megan Dias, Lindsey Dias, Briana Dias, Chloe Dias, Ryan Galhano, Frankie Galhano, Christopher Galhano and Aza Stackhouse- da Silva.

A Rosary/ Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut, Turlock. It will be officiated by Father Manuel Sousa. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
