Rose Mayer, 95, of Turlock, passed away at Paramount Court in Turlock on Oct. 10. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Allen Mortuary in Turlock. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, also at Allen Mortuary. A private burial will follow the service.
Rose lived in Menlo Park and worked in Palo Alto for many years. After retirement the family moved to Turlock, where they have lived since 1987.
She married Edward Mayer Jr. in October of 1935.
Rose is survived by her husband, Edward; children, Edward Mayer III (Joyce) of Granite Bay, Calif., Rose Marie (Bill) Godbe of Vale, Ariz. and Thomas (Jeanne) Mayer of Edmonds, Wash.; sister, Esther of Pasadena; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
