Ruth Lillian Amsbaugh went to be with the Lord on Monday April 9,2018.

She was born to the late John and Nina Swanson in French Camp CA. and moved to Turlock at the age of 5.  She attended Turlock school’s; Hawthorne, Lowell and Turlock High School. She married Floyd Amsbaugh on Jan. 3,1953. 

Ruth worked at Pacific Telephone Co. as an Telephone Operator and later as a Customer Service Rep. She retired after 32 years. Ruth was a member of Bethel Temple (now known as Harvest Christian Center) and active in women’s ministries and also as a Sunday school teacher.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, scrap booking and creating personal greeting cards. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters Linda (Bill) Fagan and Nancy (John) Groll and blessed with five grandchildren: Jennifer Carlson (Jonathon) and Jimmy Fagan (Becky); Jason Groll (Caitlin), Rachelle Groll, Brandon Groll and also four great grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Floyd Amsbaugh. 

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Mon., Apr. 16, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
