Viola Marie Brown, affectionately known as “Vava,” passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on December 3, 2023, at the age of 95. She was born in Denair, California and grew up in Turlock, California. She was a proud almond farmer and Blue Diamond Almond Growers’ member since 1970, one of the first in Stanislaus County.
