William Clifford Spiller

William “Cliff” Spiller, of Turlock, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old. 

Cliff was born to Atlee and Leona Spiller on March 27, 1937 in Caldwell, Missouri. Cliff married the love of his life, Florence, on March 15, 1956 and they were married for 62 years. 

Cliff was self-employed, owning several businesses throughout his life. He was a “jack of all trades” kind of guy and could fix anything. He was a lover of the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting trips to Idaho, Utah and Colorado, and fishing trips to Oregon and Alaska. 

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Atlee and Leona Spiller and his brothers, Jerry Spiller and Fred Spiller. He is survived by his wife, Florence; daughter, Gale (Nick) Perez; sons, David Spiller and Craig Spiller; grandchildren, Monica (Paul) Colyer, Nicholas (Danielle) Perez, Kurtis Spiller, Sabrina Spiller, Christopher Spiller and Jared Spiller; and great-grandchildren, Remington, Adeline and Vivienne Colyer, Elle, Drew and Lily Perez, Christopher and Easton Spiller and Hazel Spiller; along with his brother, Wayne (Marianne) Spiller. 

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 6, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Community Hospice at www.give.hospiceheart.org.
