To the Editor:

As an elected official, I know how difficult public service can be. That is why I respect Amy Bublak. I have seen her work tirelessly for Turlock, not for headlines or politics, but because she truly cares about the people who live here.

Turlock families deserve safe streets, reliable roads, and a city government they can trust. Amy launched a roads program that has already completed 25 miles of road work, with another 26 miles planned. Her $60 million commitment includes a maintenance program to keep Turlock’s roads among the best in the county.

What I appreciate most about Amy is that she tells the truth, even when it is difficult. She makes decisions based on what is best for Turlock residents, not political pressure.

The results speak for themselves. Crime is down, the Police Department is fully staffed, and the Fire Department has reached full staffing. She has also balanced every city budget and grown reserves to $35 million.

I believe Turlock is stronger because of Amy’s leadership. Now is not the time for a change. We are moving forward. If it is not broken, do not fix it.

Reelect Amy Bublak for Turlock Mayor.
