Cal State Stanislaus men's soccer head coach Dana Taylor announced his recruiting class of 2011, with 13 talented soccer standouts from across California and Oregon adding depth to the returning squad.

Since his arrival, Taylor has built the program to another level with two consecutive winning seasons. The Warriors are coming off an impressive 10-5-3 season with an 8-5-3 California Collegiate Athletic Association record. Stanislaus finished third in the CCAA North, narrowly missing the conference tournament.

“We are excited to add the depth of these 13 new recruits to our already talented team. Our new signees are quick, fast and extremely proficient on the ball," Taylor said. "These recruits will impact our squad and give us the necessary depth in all positions as well as contend for starting positions.”

The 2011 class of 13 new Warriors have impressive résumés, with six of them being players from Santa Clara Sporting's U18/17 teams that accomplished the following feats: Cal Soccer League undefeated champions, Nor Cal Cup champions, Far West Regionals Quarter finalist, Surf Cup champions 2009, Santa Clara Sporting Invitational champions, Cerritos champions and Dallas Cup champions.

Two of the signees are from the Turlock area—Turlock High’s Josue Barajas and Denair High’s Paul Oei.
