Turlock football’s Jeremiah Bertalotto had a career game to help the Bulldogs clinch their 10th consecutive Harvest Bowl victory over Pitman on Friday night.

Offensively, the senior exploded for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns off of four catches. He first found his way into the end zone with a 76-yard touchdown off a screen pass from quarterback Vincent Gonzales. The duo linked up on a nearly identical screen play that went 46 yards to the house.

Defensively, Bertalotto forced one of three Pitman turnovers by snagging an interception. On special teams, he zoomed down the sideline past defenders and blockers for a 45-yard score.

Turlock head coach James Peterson used the words” outstanding,” “amazing” and “magical” after the game to describe the performance. Despite lighting up the box score, Bertalotto viewed it as business as usual.

“We just knew that we had to come into this game and do our thing, and that’s what we did.”

Bertalotto and the Bulldogs will look to keep “doing their thing” Friday when they travel to Modesto to take on Downey, a game that could very well determine the winner of the Central California Athletic League.
