Turlock Christian varsity boys basketball team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Division-VI Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs after defeating Alpha Charter, 80-75, in the Wednesday’s first round matchup.

Following Wednesday’s victory, TC won three straight heading into their quarterfinal game.

Isaac Rodrigues finished with a team-high 27 points as four players scored in double figures.

Zack Silva hit a buzzer beater at the end of regulation to force the game into overtime.

Ethan Fisher finished with 25 points, Micah Blomenkamp had 13 and Silva finished with nine points for the game.

As a team, TC made five threes for the game with Fisher knocking down three.
