The regular season for varsity girls golf in the Central California Conference came to a conclusion on Tuesday afternoon when Turlock hosted Pitman High from the Turlock Golf and Country Club.

Turlock secured a perfect 12-0 regular season in the CCC, heading into the final tournament after defeating Pitman 251-350.

“It was a good day weather wise as well as golf wise,” said Turlock head coach Mary Krupka. “Turlock got to play all five seniors and came out with a 12-0 league record. We already won the CCC mid-season tournament and hope to win the CCC Championship tomorrow at Creekside in Modesto.”

“We had a very young squad but they progressed. We are looking forward to the new league. New competition and new courses should make for an interesting year,” said Pitman head coach Kris Shaw.

Pitman's lowest round came from Collette Sommerville who shot a 60 while teammate Isabelle Rodriguez shot a 61.

Turlock's Preeth Singh shot a 44. Ainslie Coughran finished with a 47. Sarah Musselman shot a 45. Brooke Adams shot a 55 and Grace Skalinder shot a 60 for Turlock.

The Pride concludes the regular season with a CCC record of 0-12.

“We will have a little more experience, which should help us get into the win column next year,” said Shaw.

The Bulldogs and Pride will now be moving on to the CCC Championship Tournament.

“Both teams enjoyed senior day and all is good in the world for the Turlock schools,” Krupka added.

The CCC Championship Tournament will take place Creekside in Modesto at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
