Four Sacramento men were taken into custody Sunday night after a pursuit on Highway 99 following allegations they committed a robbery at a Turlock pharmacy.
Around 6:15 p.m. Sunday the Turlock Police Department were notified of a robbery that had just occurred in the pharmacy at the Walgreens at 1591 Geer Road. The police department did not offer any details as to how the four men committed the robbery.
A witness to the robbery saw the suspects leaving in a vehicle and began following them, which helped police officers quickly locate the suspects. Officers attempted a high risk stop, but the driver of the vehicle refused to comply and a high-speed pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued on to northbound Highway 99, but because of heavy traffic, officers lost sight of the vehicle and ended the pursuit.
A description of the vehicle and the suspects was relayed to other law enforcement and in Stockton the California Highway Patrol made a stop on the vehicle.
All four suspects were taken into custody without incident. The four men arrested on suspicion of robbery were: Robert Frazier, 23; Daequan Owens, 23; Nalon Rapier, 19; and Gregory Hendricks, 24.
