A woman was able to put an end to a home invasion robbery after she broke free from one suspect and ran to a room to call the police, the Turlock Police Department reported.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 1900 block of Noble Lane.
The woman said a man and a woman broke a door and started asking for a male resident.
The woman said the male suspect had a gun and a knife, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Parmley.
The female suspect grabbed the woman and assaulted her. The two struggled and the victim was able to break free and run to a room, where she called the police.
The two suspects took some items from the garage and left with them in a vehicle.
Surveillance video from a neighboring residence captured some of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
