The Turlock Police Department is investigating a robbery of a Walgreens in Turlock in which the suspects were looking for opioid painkillers.

The three robbers entered the Walgreens in the 1500 block of Geer Road around 9 p.m. Sunday and jumped over the counter into the pharmacy, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The suspects forced the employees to lead them to all the opioid medications. The suspects then fled the store on foot with the medications.

The suspects were described as black male adults or juveniles.
