The Turlock Police Department received 720 total calls, 529 calls for service and reported 194 officer-initiated calls from July 6-9, 2026.

The department took 51 reports, responded to 10 traffic collisions and made 30 arrests.

Arrests for July 6-9, 2026:

• Melvin Jenner, 44, was arrested in the 1300 block of W. Main Street July 6 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors.
• Pamela Wilson, 50, was arrested in the 1300 block of W. Main Street July 6 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors.
• Jose Santana, 33, was arrested at the corner of N. Soderquist Road and Flower Street on July 6 for driving on a suspended license that was suspended for a DUI.
• Jocelyn Vasquez, 24, was arrested in the 2100 block of Fulkerth Road on July 6 for disorderly conduct involving intoxication with drugs and alcohol and obstructing a peace officer.
• Julian Mercado, 25, was arrested in the 2100 block of Fulkerth Road on July 6 for possession of a narcotic controlled substance, committing a felony while out on bail, disorderly conduct involving intoxication was drugs and alcohol and attempting to escape after arrest.
• Miguel Salas, 31, was arrested on the corner of Persian Lane and English Avenue on July 6 for possession of a controlled substance.
• Manuel Leyva, 32, was arrested in the 1900 block of Lander Avenue on July 7 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and giving a false ID to police.
• Odisho Nazlo, 67, was arrested in the 2600 block of Jeannie Court on July 7 for possession of a controlled substance.
• Rodolfo Gonzales, 30, was arrested in the 500 block of W. F Street on July 7 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• Jimmy Spaulding, 32, was arrested in the 2300 block of W. Main Street on July 7 for trespassing.
• Tunet Taryorn, 41, was arrested in the 2600 block of Jeannie Court on July 7 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and violation of probation.
• Jeffrey Dalla, 47, was arrested in the 200 block of S. Laurel Street on July 7 for possessing obscene matter involving a minor engaged in sexual conduct.
• Desire Pacheco, 18, was arrested in the 800 block of W. Main Street on July 7 for battery of spouse/ex-spouse.
• Benjamin Luna, 45, was arrested in the 1100 block of Pioneer Avenue on July 7 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and violation of a court order for domestic violence.
• Jahron Lockett, 18, was arrested in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive on July 7 for conspiracy to commit a crime, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, receiving known stolen property and possessing known items from organized retail theft.
• Adahjea Deed, 23, was arrested in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive on July 7 for conspiracy to commit a crime, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, receiving known stolen property and grand theft.
• Pedro Gutierrez, 32, was arrested in the 1100 block of Colorado Avenue on July 7 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• A male juvenile, 15, was arrested in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive on July 7 for receiving known stolen property, grand theft, possessing known items from organized retail theft and conspiracy to commit a crime.
• Wesley Grubbs, 50, was arrested on E. Main Street on July 8 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Oscar Contreras Contreras, 37, was arrested in the 300 block of S. Broadway on July 8 for contempt of court: violating a protective order.
