The Turlock Police Department received 570 total calls, 449 calls for service and reported 128 officer-initiated calls from July 31-Aug. 3, 2026.

The department took 54 reports, responded to 15 traffic collisions and made 19 arrests.

Arrests for July 31-Aug. 3, 2026:

• Nicholas White, 46, was arrested in the 1600 block of W. Main Street on July 31 for obstructing a peace officer.
• Michael Sumpter, 31, was arrested in the 200 block of S. Walnut Road on July 31 for robbery.
• Thomas Smith, 29, was arrested in the 600 block of E. Main Street on Aug. 1 for being under the influence of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer.
• Alexander Quinonez, 18, was arrested in the 1000 block of Rosenthal Drive on Aug. 1 for illegal use of a tear gas weapon, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant and false imprisonment.
• Kuldeep Singh, 29, was arrested in the 3300 block of Summer Creek Drive on Aug. 1 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
• Phannara Neang, 37, was arrested in the 1600 block of W. Main Street on Aug. 2 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and obstruction of a peace officer.
• Edde Sanjuan, 43, was arrested in the 100 block of W. Main Street on Aug. 3 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
