Turlock Irrigation District General Manager Casey Hashimoto on Tuesday appointed three interim assistant general managers to assume permanent posts.

Robert Nees is now the AGM, Civil and Water Resources; Larry Gilbertson is the AGM, Electrical Engineering and Operations; and Brian LaFollette is the AGM, Power Supply. Each has been serving in their respective roles on an interim basis for the past several months.

Nees has been with the district since 1979. He will oversee the district’s resource issues, water rights and the federal relicensing for the Don Pedro Project dam and reservoir.

Gilbertson has been with the district since 1988. He will direct planning, design and operation of TID transmission lines, distribution lines, substations and communications systems.

LaFollette has been in the electric utility industry for 26 years, 20 of which were spent with TID. He is responsible for managing internal and external power generation and supply resources, energy trading and scheduling and the creation and maintenance of power generation facilities.
