I have known Mayor Amy Bublak since her college days and i can honestly say she is the same caring, hardworking, person she was back then. One memory has stayed with me, I would be jogging around the CSUS track while Amy was practicing throwing the javelin and I asked her if I could help retrieve it. she said "no thanks but I’ll jog a couple laps with you. I need the exercise."

That was Amy, determined, humble, and never afraid of hard work. Years later, Amy proved that same character as mayor. Hedstrom Road, outside our home, had been neglected for over 40 years and she was instrumental in having the road resurfaced. As mayor she listens, cares, and follows through on her commitment, working in what she feels will improve our community. I am proud to recommend and support Amy in her bid for re-election. She is a proven leader who I truly feel cares and continues to have Turlock's best interest a high priority. Leadership is not an easy task, caring is.
