All Turlock Fire units responded to a working residential structure fire at approximately 10:01 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Wakefield Road.

First arriving units found a debris and fence fire that had extended into an apartment complex. Turlock Police officers and firefighters were able to assist one individual out of the apartment that was on fire.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control within 30 minutes and held the fire to one unit of the triplex. There were a total of eight people displaced from the fire and no injuries.

With MST resources there was a total of four engines, one truck, one quint, two battalion chiefs, fire investigative unit, medic, AMR, chief officers and TPD that responded to the fire. Crews remained on scene for an extended period of time conducting overhaul of the fire building.

The Stanislaus County Fire Investigative Unit was dispatched to handle the fire investigation.
