Beverly J. (Lee) Lutz lost her battle with cancer on Jan. 30, 2011.

Lee was born on March 20, 1938 to Henry and Hazel Ehlert in Alhambra, Calif.  She moved to Modesto at the age of 13, attended local schools and graduated from Downey High School in 1955.

She moved to Turlock after marrying her husband Richard in 1958, and resided there until his retirement in 1989 when they relocated to Crescent City, Calif.  In 2007, they decided to settle in Sedro-Woolley, Wash.

Lee was a member of the Turlock Fire Department Sparkettes, the Turlock Pleasure Seekers/ Good Sam Camping Group, the Crescent City Women's Club and the Tsunami Sams Camping Club.

Lee leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Richard; son, Rick (Diana) of Stockton; daughters, Karen (Wayne) Morgan of Burlington, Wash. and Kelley Resendez of Central Point, Ore.; sister, Linda (Wayne) Foletta of Stockton; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sonny; and great grandson, Alonzo.

No services are planned.  Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Dogs for the Deaf, in Central Point, Ore. 

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, Wash.
