Cynthia Denise Simpson, 52, of Turlock, passed away on July 6 in Sacramento. She was a homemaker for 21 years. Cynthia enjoyed yoga, going for walks, spending time with her grandkids, and spending time alone with her husband. She loved being with her family, and she was a caring and loving person. She is survived by her husband, Fernandez Ray Simpson of Turlock; son, Kelvin Joe Dorsey Jr. of San Diego; daughters, Deshawn Holder of Turlock, Devin Dorsey of Turlock, Erica Simpson and Sherrae Dorsey of Modesto; sisters, Griselda Green of Florida and Rochelle Pierce of Alyiso; and grandchildren, Quialah T. Holder of Turlock, Queensia T. Holder of Turlock, Zemiah Patterson of Turlock, Roderick Carol III of Modesto and Mercy A. Thompson of Turlock.
Visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. on July 17 at Monte Vista Chapel, 1619 E Monte Vista Ave., Turlock. A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. on July 17 at Monte Vista Chapel. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on July 19 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose.
