Darren Jason Nunes, 42, entered into rest on November 27, 2015 in Modesto at Doctor’s Memorial Medical Center. He was born on February 1, 1973 in Turlock, CA. He is preceded in death by his father Jack L. Nunes and his brother Daniel Steven Nunes.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 7 days, Paige York-Nunes, his mother Patricia Ann Nunes of Turlock and his 9 year old son Ayden John Nunes of Gustine. Darren (DJ) worked at Aircall Communications as a salesman for the past 9 years. Previous to that, he had worked as a deejay for several local radio stations. He was a music lover and HAM radio enthusiast. He was an active member of the Turlock Amateur Radio Club, call sign K6RDJ and he helped with the sound at Crossroads Church in Turlock. DJ was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He had a zest for life and loved spending time on the coast with his family. He is remembered as a good man; funny, caring, sweet and friendly, with his big, bright smile and quick sense of humor. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
