Donald Calvin Yingling, 84, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Donald was born in Sandwich, Ill. to Oscar and Minnie Yingling. As a young man he entered the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific during WW II. He took great pride in serving his country.
Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian Yingling of Turlock; children, Randy(Peggi) Yingling of Hanford, Linda Silva and companion, Paul Sokol, of Naugatuck, Conn.; and grandchildren, Christie Pardo and Kelli Yingling. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. A private service was held at San Joaquin Valley National.
