Eugene "Gener" Turner, 79 of Keyes, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House on Friday, November 11th. Eugene was born in Oklahoma to Charles and Frances Walker, and moved to California in 1941, settling in Stanislaus County. Gener has been a faithful member of the Keyes Assembly of God for many years, where she attended with her daughter Jeanette and friends. She was a wonderful, kind, giving and loving mother and friend. She enjoyed crocheting and making things for others.
Gener was survived by her daughter Jeanette Kullbom of Keyes, two grandsons, Zeth Turner and Grant Burnett; siblings Imogene Robinson and Charles Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cassiel Turner (1977), siblings Joe Walker, Christine Roberts and Kenneth Walker.
Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary, Sunday, November 20th, 12:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, November 21st at 9:30 am at the Keyes Assembly of God, 450 7th Street, Keyes, CA 95328. Burial will follow at to San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:30pm.
