Gloria Charlene Caetano, 66 of Atwater passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 19, 1948 to Virgil and Ruth Wears. She spent all of her adult life in Delhi, Hilmar and Turlock area. During this time she was employed at Valley Fresh Foods in Turlock, the Hilmar Unified school district and the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds Office. Gloria absolutely adored her granddaughter, Haley, who she loved to spend time with and take shopping. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her dogs Chica, Baby and Squeaky. Gloria had a big heart and was a caring person who was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was not only a great talker but also a great listener. Anyone who knew her will agree that she had a unique laugh which was contagious and will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Parmley Jr., brother, Virgil Wears and sister, Janice York. She is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Patrick Caetano, son Charles Parmley, daughter Amanda Parmley, granddaughter, Haley Nicole Perkins, brothers, Walt, Charles and Eddie Wears, sisters, Virginia Noice and Mary Dellenbach, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

A viewing will be held at Turlock Funeral Home 425 N. Soderquist Rd. on Saturday, November 15 from 11:00- 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow.
