Lillian Mary Lewis Mora, a resident of Turlock, passed away peacefully in Hughson, CA on Monday, August 31st. She was 83 years old. 

Lillian was born in Martinez, CA to John Lewis and Mary Bettencourt Lewis. Raised in Denair, she graduated from Hughson High School. A woman of faith, Lillian was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish and an avid member of the YLI. 

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lewis; siblings, Edward Lewis, Rosemarie Medeiros, and John Lewis; and ex-husband, Florencio Mora Jr. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Medeiros; children, Frank (Jill) Mora, Liz (Kevin) Vasconcellos, Chris Mora, and Victoria Mora; grandchildren, Rebecca Mora, Samantha Mora, Emily Mora, Scott (Katie) Vasconcellos, Danielle Vasconcellos, Rachel Vasconcellos, Carlie Vasconcellos, Anthony Mora, Victoria Nunez, Leilani Nunez, Antionette Nunez, Lilliana Nunez and Toribio Torres; and great-grandchildren, Noah and Gianna Vasconcellos. 

A viewing will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. A private Mass will be held for family only on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Parish in Hughson. Following the Mass, Lillian will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m. at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. Due to current circumstances, a reception will not be held.
