Linuel “Lin” Cobb, 74, of Turlock, passed away on Oct. 30 at Emanuel Medical Center. A private Internment will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.
Mr. Cobb was born and raised in rural Arkansas. He married Dorothy Cossey and they started a family in Arkansas. They moved to California in 1966, about the time their youngest child was born. In early years, he worked in the cotton fields. After moving west he raised turkeys for Foster Farms. He loved to stay at home with his family and enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Pamela and Darlene Cobb of Turlock, Perry and Jeff (Shonia) Cobb of Modesto, and Vickie Elliott of Marmaduke Arkansas; sister, Bobbie of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and seven (soon to be nine) great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Gooding.
