Lorraine Murray passed away peacefully in Turlock on Oct. 29 at the age of 83. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2 at Allen Mortuary. The funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Allen Mortuary, with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Lorraine was born in Los Angeles, Calif. to Harry and Mabel Crouse. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to family and friends and her wonderful unique laugh that made everyone around laugh with her. Her hobbies included traveling, reading and bingo. She was employed by Emanuel Medical Center Dietary Department for 25 years.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Arthur Weier of Rocklin, Jerry Murray (Debby) of Hughson, Doris Quillen, Nancy Thomas and Larry Murray, all of Turlock; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James; parents, Harry and Mable; sister, Violet Crouse; and brothers, Harry Crouse and Norman Speer.
