Mamie was born in Gustine to parents J.M. and Emelia Santos in 1921. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her husband and children. She was also a 4-H leader and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mamie loved baseball, camping, fishing and travelling.
She is survived by her children, Michael Lucas, Buster Lucas and Raymond Lucas, all of Turlock; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lucas; daughter, Linda Lucas; parents; brothers, Jess, Elvin and Joe; and her sister, Isabel.
Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 at Allen Mortuary, with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
