Pauline Myers, 80, passed away April 20. Born and raised in Turlock by parents Nettie and Thomas Mortimer, Pauline will be known as a proud mother, good friend, and loving wife. Pauline loved telling stories of growing up in Turlock with her sister Donna (Johnson) and brother William (Mortimer). She graduated from Turlock High School class of 1950 and later earned her Registered Nursing Degree from Modesto Junior College. She worked as a nurse for about 10 years. Pauline loved music, dancing, tennis, the beach and the company of good friends and family. After decades of living in the Turlock/Modesto area, she moved to Santa Cruz in the late 1980's where she lived for about 10 years. She met the love of her life, Hal Myers, at their 40th high school reunion in Turlock. After several years of living on the coast, Pauline and Hal eventually relocated to Kingsburg, CA. Pauline is survived by her husband Hal who faithfully loved and cared for her, her three sons Mike Cooper and wife Jill, Scott Cooper and wife Robin and Craig Cooper, six grandchildren (Nick Cooper, Lindsay Cooper, Elena Cooper, Carly Rodgers, Brett Peters, Michael Cooper), as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral services will be held in honor of Pauline on April 26th, 1pm, at the Turlock Funeral Home 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
