Turlock

Richard “Bud” Grant Budworth, 71, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Doctors Hospital in Modesto following a brief illness.  Richard proudly served his country in both the Air force and Army National Reserves completing his military career with the Civil Service.  During that time he had the opportunity to serve in Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Germany as well as many stateside bases.  Richard had a passion for animals specifically dogs.  Over the years he has had many canine companions most recently his much adored miniature Doberman pinschers Max, Ginger, and JR. 
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Louise (Bradley) Budworth; his son John Thomas Budworth and his wife Misty Budworth; his three grandchildren Kaisee, Nikolus and Korina; his siblings and their spouses, Suzie Holt of Las Vegas, NV, Julie Garber of Merced, CA, Walter Budworth of Turlock, CA and Nora Reid of San Antonio, TX. 
A viewing will be held at Allen’s Mortuary at 247 N. Broadway in Turlock, CA on Sunday February 5, 2012 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4250 Geer Road in Turlock, CA at 10:00 am.  A Military Graveside service will also be held Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:30 am at Lakewood Memorial Park at 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, CA.
