“In Loving Memory of Viola”

Viola “Vi” Soderstrom, a Turlock native, left us unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Feb. 4 to return home to our heavenly Father.

She lived in Turlock for 83 years before moving to an Auburn retirement home in 2001 to be close to her daughters.  She considered herself very blessed to enjoy good health her entire life.

Eighty members of her family celebrated her 100th birthday with such joy on Dec. 27, 2015.

Vi leaves behind her daughters Kay and Shirlee, son-in-law Bill, 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Emanuel “Manny” Soderstrom, in 1989.  

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 27, at Turlock Memorial Park Mausoleum.
