Bus routes important to all
Placeholder Image

Recently some of us who are dissatisfied with the local bus system went to Mr. (Roger) Fall, who manages the bus routes, and asked him to change the routes. He did not make a definite commitment, but he called two meetings on Sept. 23 at which time residents may air their grievances.
It is imperative that not only those who use the buses be there, but those also who are concerned with the future financial condition of the bus system but also in turn concerned the financial condition of Turlock.
At present, the bus system receives 65 percent of its expenses from state and federal sources which are not dependable. Therefore, all riders of the buses and concerned taxpayers should be at the Sept. 23 meetings at 1p.m. or 7 p.m. at the City Hall. See you there.
