Dear Editor:

I'm writing this letter in support of James Reape to be our next mayor of Turlock. He is an individual of high integrity and honesty, something that cannot be attributed to the current mayor. Mayor Bublak actively campaigned against both Measure L (county) and Measure A (city) which both passed and allowed for the repair and improvement of area roads (L), city streets (A) and funding of public safety in Turlock. In a case of civilian stolen valor, the mayor now takes credit for the improvements to the city infrastructure and financial stability we are now enjoying. In addition, she was against the regional surface water project which now provides Turlock with abundant clean water. Any use of the term "leader" and Mayor Bublak in the same sentence is misguided. Turlock deserves a mayor with leadership skills, character and integrity, James Reape is that person.
