A homeowner scared away a group of burglars when he fired his gun into the floor.

No one was hurt in the incident and three of the four suspects were apprehended, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The burglary was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of E. Canal Drive.

The homeowner awoke to voices coming from inside his home. According to the police department, the man armed himself with his pistol and walked into his living room, where he found four individuals trying to steal his possessions.
